Abstract: The paper is devoted to a relatively recent Internet genre: Web little verses of the “I see rhymes” public group. The Web little verses are built with the use of montage technology: several poetic lines are followed by a photo with some inscription, title, etc. The paper discusses the issues related to the emergence of new Internet poetic genres. It examines the emergence and development of new poetic Internet genres. I pay special attention to the relations between author's poetry and network poetry. The assimilation in network poetry of the ideology of “new sincerity”, which was originally formed in author's poetry, is under discussion. Different ways of creating a comic effect based on creating a contrast between the text, fixed on the photo, and the “completed” poetic lines are identified and described. Keywords: “I see rhymes” public, Internet genre, network poetry, Web little verse, ideology of absurdity, network humor, discourse of everyday life Bibliography: Bragina N.
