Abstract: The article examines one of the ways of realizing the creative potential of linguistic personality – parody text. Based on literary parodies by L. Filatov on R. Rozhdestvensky, E. Evtushenko and Yu. Levitansky, the types of parody texts and linguistic means of their creation are revealed. The analysis showed that L. Filatov uses two types of parody texts: “classical” poetic, which is an independent work, and epitext – prose parody in the form of pretext commentary to the main parody in verse. L. Filatov’s parodies reflect a subtle analysis of the language and style of the works of the parodied poets, as well as an ironic assessment of their character traits.
