Abstract: This paper aims to identify the poetic specifics of a ritual text used for sacrificial rites to the local and ancestoral spirits, as used in the spring and summer time in the southern southern Altai areas. To study the texts, I used methods of component analysis and linguistic analysis. The study revealed the characteristic features of the poetic structure of the text. I show that the text reflects archaic religious beliefs Altai, shamanism and the cult of the mountains. Despite the fact that in the text there are the traditional poetic images, formulas and approaches that are typical of shamanic folklore, it can be considered a personal work by its author. The textual structure follows the normal structure of poetic texts. It is organized in rhythmic lines. Most rhymes consist of five and eight syllables. For the purposes of this work consists of two parts. First there is a communication with the gods and spirits of the ancestors. Second there is the expression of requests for various good things of life. The novelty of the study lies in the fact that the revealed features of our poetic ritual text allow us to trace the tradition and stability of oral poetic tradition of ritual Altai over time.
