Abstract: Transfer multiplicity is the main indicator of reception of a specific author in a foreign language culture. Analysis of the six German translation of the poem S.A. Yesenin’s «До свиданья, друг мой, до свиданья…», presented in the paper, reflects the reception of the Russian poet in Germany.
