Abstract: The paper is devoted to an unexplored topic, the problem of interrelations of the Buryat language with the Mongolian languages and dialects of the north-eastern area of Central Asia, with which the Buryat language is connected by the community of formation. The paper touches even upon a wider problem: that of the existence of the Bargu-Buryat language community.
