Abstract: In the article on the basis of the material of the collections of poems «Me eum esse» (1897), «Tertia Vigilia» (1898–1901) by V.Y. Bryusov and «The Burning Build-ings» (1900), «We shall be as the Sun» (1903), «Only Love» (1903) by K.D. Balmont it is regarded both the universal regularity of organizing the cognitive activity of the readers in the texts without the titles, characteristic of the poets-symbolists, and the individual features.
