Abstract: Considering participation of the dative case in text-building of A.S. Pushkin creations authors of the article accent the use of prototypical (addressee) meaning of the given case in the expression of «the lyrical interlocutor», analyze the use of the dative case in the explication of motive «the destiny, fate» (story «Blizzard», «Metel») and pay attention to evolution of archaic forms of the dative, having place in the language of «Belkin’s Stories».
