Abstract: In this article we tried to analyze works of modern buryat prosaists Tseren Galanov and Dorghi Erdineyev in context of folklore and ethnography. Understanding one’s people’s spiritual culture, it’s percepnion of the world is possible via examination of rite system, customs and folk poetry in their close correlation.
