Abstract: In the article the semantic models of mordovian dialects names of mushrooms are analysed, functioning both on the territory of the Mordovia Republic and beyond its boundaries. A considerable part of the lexical material is introduced into scientific practice for the first time; areal description is given to some single lexemes.
