Abstract: In the article genre sources (idyll, eclogue, folk song), poetics of «pastoral» song in works by A.P. Sumarokov are examined, in particular, experience of national transformation of genre on the basis of Russian folk ceremony. The meaning of «pastoral» songs by Sumarokov in the development of Russian lyric poetry was revealed.
