Abstract: The purpose of this article is to give the readers some information on the problem of the poetic dialogue between I. Chinnov and I. Annensky. Through comparative analyses of their poems the author underlines the influence of the poetic system of I. Annensky upon the Chinnov's lyric. The leading role in this dialogue belongs to the theme of the meaning of life and art before the death's face.
