Abstract: The problems of Benediktov's metapoetics is analysed from the viewpoint of "vertical" reading of his texts. Special attention is paid to explication of metatextual line and peculiarities of usage of expressive means. The research analysis of "vertical" reading of poems devoted to the poetic creation allows to make conclusion that metatextual line opens up new sides of sense and commenting on the facts got from "horizontal" reading of the text.
