Name: The category of possession in the Chalkan language

Abstract: The article deals with the category of possessivity in the Chalkan language. The data collected by N.A.Baskakov who studied the Ckalkan language 60 years ago are compared to the data of the modern Ckalkan language. The category of possessivity paradigm in Pl. has been reduced and the phonotactical rules of usage of these indicators have changed. At present time the category of possessivity reveals aligning of plural paradigm where the possessive affix of the 1st person Pl. aligns as the 2nd person Pl.
