ResearcherID: S-1351-2016 Brief scientific biographyIn 1986 I. E. Kim graduated from the Novosibirsk State University, Faculty of Humanities, specialty «Russian language and literature», with qualification «Philologist. Teacher with knowledge of a foreign language». From August 1986 to July 2014 he worked at Krasnoyarsk State University and Siberian Federal University. In 1990-1993 he completed his full-time postgraduate studies at KSU. The academic degree of candidate of philological sciences in the specialty 10.02.01 — Russian language was awarded by the dissertation council K 113.42.02 at the Ural State Pedagogical University and approved by the Higher Attestation Commission in 1995. The topic of Ph.D. thesis — «Modus-dictum coreference and its expression in modern Russian language». In 1999 Igor Efimovich was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor at the Department of the Russian Language. In 2011 he defended his doctoral dissertation in the specialty 10.02.01 — Russian language at the dissertation council DM 212.099.12 at the Siberian Federal University. The topic of his doctoral dissertation is «Complicity and control in the personal and social semantic spheres of the modern Russian language». At the present time he works as Deputy Director and Principal Researcher of the Department of the Russian Language in Siberia at the Institute of Philology. He also holds the position of professor of the Department of General and Russian Linguistics at the Humanitarian Institute of NSU, teaches courses in political and social linguistics, functional grammar, semiotics and the theory of reference.
