Abstract: The paper studies the derivational structure of polysemy on the basis of the dialects of the Selkup language. To determine the typology of derived meanings and the peculiarities of the semantic derivation of Selkup nouns, a comparative analysis was performed on the basis of a number of lexicographic works on other Ural languages as well as on those of genetically different indigenous peoples of the Russian Federation.

Keywords: the selkup language, semantic derivation; elementary, chaining, radial, mixed polysemy, semantic parallels, lexico-semantic variants
