Abstract: The paper discusses the genre specificity of the story «The Acts of Azlazivon» by L.M. Leonov. A correlation is made of the plot situations in the acts of Nifont Kiprsky and Simeon Stolpnik with similar plot situations in the story by Leonov. An analysis is made of separate coincident motifs and of their re-comprehension by the author.
