Abstract: The present publication includes information on the all-Russian conference «Problems of interpretational linguistics: types of perception and their language realization» with the participants from Russia and from abroad. The conference was held on October 18 – 20, 20012, at Novosibirsk State Teachers’ Training University. Linguists from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Ufa, Omsk, Perm, Helsinki (Finland), Milan (Italy), Kharkov (Ukraine) took part in this event. The conference sessions dealt with the following issues of perception: visual, audio, odor and tactile images of the world; specificity of perceptual concepts; interconnection and interdependence of different perceptional subsystems and language diffusivity in the interpretation of different perceptional types; lexicographic parameters of perception vocabulary description; system of perception and the regimes of its language interpretation; hierarchy of perception modes and its reflection in the language system.
