Abstract: The paper is devoted to the concepts НЕМЦЫ / НЕМЕЦ and RUSSEN / RUSSE (GERMANS / GERMAN and RUSSIANS / RUSSIAN). An attempt is made to analyze the nonverbal means of representing these concepts and to contrast the national systems of gestures of Russians and Germans.
