ArticleName: Dialectisms in translative dictionaries of the Mongolian languages Authors: Tsyrenov Babasan Dorzhiyevich Institute for Mongolian, Buddhist and Tibetan Studies of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences Ulan-Ude Russian Federation In the section Linguistics
Abstract: The paper is devoted to the problem of representing dialectisms in general bilingual dictionaries of the Mongolian languages – Buryat-Russian, Mongolian-Russian and Russian-Kalmyk. The analysis of the word lists of these dictionaries makes it possible to conclude that in the Mongolian-Russian and Kalmyk-Russian dictionaries the number of dialectisms is quite insignificant, and in three editions of the Buryat-Russian dictionary they are included as headwords in a much larger number and range from 9% in the first to 3.5% – in the third. Dialectal words in these dictionaries are actually lexical dialectisms and ethnographisms. Keywords: dialectisms, translative dictionaries, mongolian languages Bibliography: |
