Abstract: The paper describes the types of text functions of the verbal forms with the perfect meaning in the literary text. Several major types of textual functions are differentiated on the basis of a complex of signs: versions of perfect meaning, verb positions in the text, and lexical and grammatical characteristics of a verb.
