Abstract: The paper deals with the problem of N. Klyuev’s creative evolution. The author analyzes the main motivational complex of the poet’s poems, the mystic-utopian ideas expressed in them, and raises anew the question of the concluding stage of the creative development of N. Klyuev as the leader of the «new peasant» poets.
