ArticleName: The motif of construction in the verses of Evgeny Kropivnitsky and other poets of the Lianozovo group Authors: Burkov Oleg Andreevich Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, Novosibirsk, Russian Federation In the section Study of literature
Abstract: The paper analyses the motif of construction or a construction site in the poetry of Yevgeny Kropivnitsky (1893–1979), an unofficial leader of the so called 'Lianozovo group' of poets and artists formed in the late 1950s. Kropivnitsky and the other Lianozovo poets developed the idea of construction in two parallel trends: (1) archetypical (by turning to the myth of the Tower of Babel and one of the final scenes of Goethe’s "Faust") and (2) specifically historical (by turning to the context of the Soviet Union: the semantics of the construction motif was developed in terms of deconstructing the Soviet ideology. Keywords: motif, construction, lianozovo group, kropivnitsky, goethe, soviet ideology, myth of the tower of babel, modernism Bibliography: |
