Abstract: The article presents an attempt of reviewing «Gore ot uma» translations fulfilled since it has been written by Alexander Griboedov up to the present time. Within these 186 years the comedy has been translated at least 90 times into 25 languages. However, translation plurality of «Gore ot uma» only reaffirms a thesis of its adequate translation inability.
