Abstract: Author focuses on the text-picture relation in the manuscript of «Book of the Tikhvin Icon» from the Novosibirsk State Public Scientific-Technical Library which dates of last quarter of XVIII century. Miniatures of the manuscript are compared to the whole tradition of illustration of «Book of the Tikhvin Icon» in XVII-XVIII centuries. New cycles being included in the picture system and the unusual representation of some key scenes make to think that a lot of miniatures were painted in XIX century.
