Abstract: The article is devoted to the images of natural elements in the art picture of the world of A.S. Pushkin. Mythopoetic level of some lyrics and epic lyrics of 1813 – 1830 years is represented in the article. Mythologems of water, earth, fire and wind are defined. Artistic semantics and a forming role of the mythologems in the texts are analyzed. Mythopoetic meaning of images of natural elements is compared with archetype meanings, biblical picture of the world, artistic symbolism of romanticism's epoch.
