Abstract: The Dictionary is devoted to the language of V. G. Rasputin’s works of art associated with the dialects of the Angarsk district of the East Siberian region of Russia. The dialect of the inhabitants of the Angara region, the descendants of the natives of Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Novgorod, Vyatka and other provinces reveals their peasant agriculture world view. The lexical units of the dictionary were both separate words and phraseological units. The basis for determining their semantics was the recording of the oral stories of the writer’s countrymen, mainly inhabitants of the village Atalanka of the Ust-Udinsky district of the Irkutsk region and the nearest villages – Anosovo, Podvolozhnoe, Karda, and other settlements. The lexical treasury of the speech of the inhabitants of the banks of the Angara keeps the memory of the hard and long work on the land, here called “God’s work”. The review deals with the history of the dictionary creation, the participation of V. G. Rasputin, the principle of compiling a dictionary, the number of lexical units in the first volume, its content, the structure of the entry. The author indicates the thematic diversity of words and phraseological units and considers their peculiarities of reflecting the world view of Russian peasant culture. Also, the review describes the multimedia version of the dictionary for the Museum of V. G. Rasputin, supplemented by photo and audio materials. Keywords: Writer’s language, V. Rasputin, the dialects of the Angara region, the language picture of the world, Russian culture Bibliography: |
