Abstract: The interest of Mayakovsky to the expressiveness of the genre of vision is revealed for the first time in early lyrics and the poem ‘An Extraordinary Adventure’ and their transformations in the realization of the lyrical plot / motif of a meeting are analyzed. Special attention is given to the problem of possibility / impossibility of a contact, and also the virtual nature of «another party», irrationality as to the basis of artistic thinking of the poet. The use of dramaturgic techniques and visual poetics for expression of the state of the lyrical hero is noted. The analysis of these aspects of ‘An Extraordinary Adventure’ finds new evidence of its special importance in the creative work of the poet.

Keywords: irrationality of lyrics v. mayakovsky, early verses of v. mayakovsky, «the extraordinary adventure», transformations of a lyrical plot of a meeting, vision components, the virtual character, the dramaturgic techniques, visual poetics
