Abstract: On October 30, 2015, Selyutina Iraida Yakovlevna celebrates her 70th anniversary and 45 years of her scientific work. Selyutina I.Ya. is a doctor of philological sciences, professor, a leading scientific worker of the V. M. Nadelyayev Laboratory of Experimental-Phonetic Investigations of the Siberian Peoples’ Languages Department of the Institute of Philology of the Siberian Section of the Russian Academy of Sciences. She is a world-known researcher in the area of Turkology and Experimental Phonetics. Under her supervision the V. M. Nadelyayev Laboratory of Experimental-Phonetic Investigations is realizing a large-scale investigation into the languages of the indigenous peoples of Siberia and of the adjacent territories.
