Abstract: The classificatory schemes, reflecting the disintegration dynamics of the Turkic languages, differ depending on the material around which they are built. One of the reasons for such a difference is the fact that reflected in these schemes are not only divergent processes, what is built into the very methodology of building a genealogical tree, but also the results of later language contacts that lead to changes of a number of parameters taken into account in the classifications and form a number of common forms for the contact zones. Serving as an example of such an influence of the language confusion on the place of one or another language in the classifications can be the Turkic languages of Siberia and their relation with the Kirghiz language.

Keywords: siberian languages, kirghiz language, language contacts, classification of turkic languages, classificatory marker
