Abstract: This article investigates contribution of M. I. Cheremisina to the general syntactic theory. Her works forms a fundamental foundation for description of syntax as a language system in unity of its structure and semantics. As a development of Cheremisina’s ideas there proposed a notion of a typical syntactic structure, structurally unified though presuming wide semantic variety, leading from the elementary simple sentence as a language notion to a series of its realizations in speech. This notion helps to show the main rules of transformation and a system of its possible realizations.
