Abstract: The paper deals with the development of the linguo-textological trend at the department of ancient languages of the Novosibirsk State University and with the specific application of this method to the history of the vocabulary of Russian and Old Church Slavonic. After the death of L. P. Zhukovskaya the Department of the ancient languages of the Novosibirsk State University became the center of linguo-textological research. Not only have the investigations of concrete literary texts been investigated here, but the linguo-textological method has also been further developed: L.G. Panin has published the first (and so far the only) monograph devoted to theoretical issues of linguistic textual criticism. The research workers of the department of ancient languages of NSU propose to adequately describe the development of the Old Russian literary language vocabulary by studying ancient written monuments preserved in numerous lists (Gospel, Menology, Stishnoy Prologue etc.). Work is underway on studying the later Church Slavonic texts (according to the Church Slavonic language of modern usage) and a fundamentally new problem is being raised, that has turned out to follow from linguo-textological study of the monuments of Old Church Slavonic writing. Here, we have to do with languages-preservatives. Keywords: lingvo-tekstology, historical lexicology, linguo-textological method, church slavonic language, languages-preservatives Bibliography: |
