Abstract:

The notes are dedicated to the memory of Yu. N. Chumakov. The memoirs regard his visit to the International Pushkin Conference in Paris in September 1999, as well as a few episodes of interaction between the author and Yu. N. Chumakov in Moscow between 1989 and 2005.
