Abstract: The article is devoted to investigation of events in the structure of the provincial plot. Basic provincial plots and plot’s elements are researched on the material of classical Russian literature and fiction. In conclusion the different event layers are analyzed story eventfulness and metaliterature eventfulness are compared.
