Laboratory of Siberian and the Far Eastern Verbal CulturesLaboratory of Siberian and the Far Eastern Verbal Cultures of the Institute of Philology of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences was established in 2019 and is supported by a mega-grant (the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 220 of April 09, 2010) aimed at implementing the research project “Cultural universalities of verbal traditions of nations of Siberia and the Far East: folklore, literature, language” (Project No. 075-15-2019-1884). The research is supported by a government grant. The project supervisor is the leading scientist - Liudmila Dampilova, Doctor of Philology, Associate Professor, Senior research fellow, project coordinator at the Department of Folklore and Literature Studies of the Institute for Mongolian, Buddhist and Tibetan Studies of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Russia). The research interests of Liudmila Dampilova are focused on studying mythology, folklore and literature of Mongolian and Siberian nations, poetics, symbolism of ceremonial and spiritual poetry, and main tendencies of development of Buryat literature, text, context, and intertext. |
