Abstract: The contrastive study develops the method of discourse linguocreativity analysis, which features reference frame modifications and helps identify major transformations in linguocreativity discourse profiles. We verify the method to assess linguocreativity in the works of M. Sholokhov, K. Paustovsky and S. Marshak representing both the discourse of children’s literature and the epistolary discourse. These discourse types and the author’s discourse on the whole serve as different reference frames to trace linguocreativity discourse profiles transformations in each author’s discourse. The study reveals major discourse innovations enhancing linguocreativity in the discourse of children’s literature and epistolary discourse as well as in the author’s discourse. Among them are the discourse innovations in event construal, actionality, addressing, emotionality, self-representation and self-identification, interdiscourse construal.

Keywords: linguistic creativity, author’s discourse, discourse profiles, discourse of children’s literature and epistolary discourse, reference frame modifications
