Abstract: The paper is devoted to a comparative investigation of the concepts «masculinity» and «femininity», which makes it possible to reveal the national-cultural and gender specificity of the image of the world of representatives of Yakut, Russian and French cultures in the course of the semantic perception of original and translated texts.
