Abstract: The paper deals with the problems of philological analysis of the famous Russian writer V.M. Shukshin’s working notes. The author concentrates on the origin of Shukshin’s working notes, some of their textual features, the variety of genres, some questions of the language and poetics, as well as on the interpretation of these non-fiction works.
