Name: «The Family Idea» in the epistolary works by V.M. Shukshin

Abstract: The paper investigates V.M. Shukshin’s conception of a family formulated in the letters of the well-known Russian writer and filmdirector. The analysis shows motifs of the two models of the family – a patriarchal family and a nuclear one, which were reflected in Shukshin’s real life and his epistolary works.
