Abstract: The given research is devoted to analysis of adjectives with elements -видный and -образный as one of basic means of realization of form semantics and functional-semantic category of similarity. Besides, it aims at revelation and description of geometrical and non-geometrical form etalons which can serve as objects of comparison.
