Abstract: In the Altay proverbs and sayings somatic words are one of ways to form value of concepts of the internal and external world of the person. Various representations about body parts have laid down in a basis of semantics of various figurative means which have served for the characteristic of spiritually-moral, intellectual, emotionally-mental, physical, social qualities of the person. In poetic structure considered proverbs internal forms of phraseological units with somatic words become bright and at the same time transparent thanks to opposition – to a way of contrast reflection of symbolical values.
