Abstract: The originality of folklore vision of the world and its reflexion in creativity of the Altay artists G.I. Choros-Gurkin, V.G. Tebekov, I.I. Ortonulov is considered in the article. The role of light contrasts, a harmonious combination of a triad of the basic colors, symbolization, conditional painting, visualization of images is marked.
