Abstract: The paper deals with the modern problems of poetic text translation in the Tuva and Buryat poetry. Poetic translations became a part of the live literary process and cultural tradition of the peoples of Siberia. The best poetic translations make the differences between the original and translational creativity disappear by recreating the artistic unity of the contents and the form of the original and reproducing the entire poetic discourse. In the literature of the XXI century, the eastern paradigm of Turk-Mongolian ethnos has changed to the European. With the European literary forms being introduced through Russian language, it is necessary to study the national literature in terms of reception problems. It has been revealed that the national text written in Russian or translated into Russian in any case is the reception of «alien» culture ideas. The additional or changed perception and the new sense become inevitable for the text translated.
