Abstract: The paper deals with the formation of the current stage of the model description of the syntactic structure of the Uighur language. The author analyzes the stages of the development of the syntaxical science in the Uighur linguistics. The evolution of syntax as a section of the science about language has gone through several stages. The paper analyzes the most significant works on each stage. The author carries out his own analysis and review in the context of contrasting the levels of language and speech. The paper shows that the preceding stage is characterized by syntactic research in terms and concepts of speech units. On this basis the paper concludes that the use of the modern concepts of syntactic structural and semantic model is a natural stage in the history of the research into the syntax of the Uighur language.
