Abstract: The paper analyzes the topic of the interrelation of nature and man in the works by I. G. Toropov. This topic is one of the most important in his works and forms the basis of the author’s artistic vision of the world. Study is made of the philosophical, ecological, ethical aspects of nature comprehension and the principles of its artistic representation.
